Before the HBO comedy festival, I have one last (public) performance at the Log Angeles LAUGH FACTORY on Sunset Boulevard and Crescent Heights.
WEDNESDAY -- 8:30pm show. I CAN COMP UP TO 10 PEEPS! So lemme know!
It's my last chance to figure out what the fuck I'm going to do for 3,000+ industry follks looking for the next Dane Cook (without pock marks) in Las Vegas this coming weekend.
These are the two schools of advice I'm getting:
1. It's just another show. Have fun -- these festivals never make or break you or really lead to anything. It's just a chance to do comedy.
2. THIS IS YOUR ONE SHOT, LOSER! YOU'LL NEVER HAVE A CHANCE LIKE THIS AGAIN! BLOW THIS AND KISS YOUR FUCKING CAREER GOODBYE! P.S. GOOD LUCK!
So, I'm wavering between the two.
To further pimp myself, I will also be doing a radio spot in the "Festival Village" in Vegas at 6:00pm on Friday before my set. Come on out and I will sign what ever you want signed, take pictures, and flirt with your girlfriends. It's gonna be a great time, so if you can make it, it's time to move your ass and get tickets.
